Guess what... We're pregnant!!!

I’m so, so excited to share the news with you all!!!

We’ve actually been pregnant for a while now (I’m 19 weeks?! How did that happen??). Turns out, with baby #3 you just kind of forget to do things like formal pregnancy announcements. (We also apparently forgot to do things like tell some family members, which we learned yesterday. Whoops.) So finally I just grabbed my toddlers, had a tummy-painting session, and snapped a couple of pics. Alright that sounds too easy – let me be honest. We snapped about 200 pics, three of which actually have both my children looking directly at the camera while showing off their tummy smiles. But hey, 3 out of 200 isn’t bad for a 22-month-old and a 3.5-year-old with the attention span of dragonflies! Welcome to social media, little one.

I’ll write more in the coming months about my pregnancy adventures, reflect on my first two pregnancies (and subsequent early motherhood!) when I learned how to be good to mama, and what it’s like to be pregnant during COVID. But for now, simply join me in celebrating baby #3!! Your big sister can’t wait to meet you so she has yet another sibling to reign over, and your big brother genuinely has no idea you’re coming. We can’t wait for you to be a part of our family adventure.
